We recommend you try and buy your travel insurance as soon as possible after you make a travel booking. We can't predict what might alter our personal circumstances and prevent you from travelling. You don't have to buy from your travel agent or airline, as this can usually work out more expensive, but do make it a priority and take advantage of the cancellation cover provided form the moment you take out the policy.
Read through your policy document and ensure it will provide adequate cover for all you have planned. Don't forget if you find it's not going to be suitable for you, you do have a 14 day cooling off period in which to cancel the policy and claim a refund.
