If you can't use your flight or holiday booking, don't worry! There's a cheaper alternative to cancellation and it's available on the majority of flight and holiday bookings.
Tour Operators and many airlines permit you to change the passenger names on your booking. The option is usually there in the terms and conditions, and must be provided by tour operators as per the Package Travel Regulations if you are prevented from travelling due to a change in personal circumstances.
If you can find someone else to take over your booking (buy it from you), transferring is almost always cheaper than cancelling. Meaning you get more money back by advertising your booking details and arranging for someone else to travel in your place.
You can offer the booking much cheaper than what it would cost to buy the same booking direct from the supplier meaning both you and the new passengers are quids in.
